The plans are all drawn in 'Corel Draw' with a few layers....there are a total of 22 sections within the model. This design took about 3-4 months to complete, that was after designing the Boeing X32-B which lost the JSF contract. Some of you regulars may remember some early build photos of the X32-B.

When I learnt that the Lockheed X35 had won the contract (in OCT 2001) I kinda 'axe kicked' the X32 into small pieces, cleared the building board and started from scratch again. A very good learning experience though with the remnants used to prove the rotation assembly and an early 'stick' rig to test the control circuit. More of that in the 'Test' page.
